State and local agencies can support the Governor’s Executive Order (EO) N-19-19  by procuring green goods such as food and recycled materials, consistent with state climate policies. Buying alternative proteins in fish feed reduces the state’s demand of wild-caught fish. Also, certified compostable products divert waste and reduce its environmental impact on California’s landfills.
